Water characteristics for betta fish

Water is the primary source of betta fish ( fighting fish for sale ). Just like humans, what is something we can't live without? Oxygen. So for bettas and fishes, it is water. Water has to have some ordinary aspects in it because it is what betta wants.

Many people think this is not a big deal, but it matters the most, especially in the case of bettas. They can't survive in regular water. They are incredibly fragile and sensitive, so if things do not go according to their need and desire, they might easily give up on their life.

After all, these pets don't know who to express or talk to, so it is is upto us how well we take care of them and whether or not we are providing a necessity ( basic ones ) in their life.

Flow of water

Water flow is just one of the primary sources necessary for the betta. As said earlier, these fishes are susceptible to water. And if the water current is high, they can end up dead.

The ideal environment of water for a betta is swamp-type water. Dense and slow-moving. It is advised to keep the current and water pressure as low as possible.

Temperature

The temperature of the water is another thing that the owner must keep in mind because a significant rise or drop in temperature is not healthy for a betta. They can die or catch some of the usual sicknesses, which are challenging to cope with.

Water level

The water, or as we should recall, an aquarium, should be more profound. Because as deep underworld water goes, the pressure increases, and the quantity of oxygen decreases. Leading many big mammals and fishes to end up dead. Betta is a small specie and sensitive too.

Quality

The quality of the water needs to be of top class. Crystal clear and healthier. Water containing no harmful chemicals, such as zinc, is perfect for a betta. Also, remember that the water pH level must equal or close to 7.

Because this is a pH level that identifies that water is clean and contains no harmful diseases, bacteria, and chemicals that can harm a betta.

Oxygen

Oxygen is vital to their life, even more necessary than water. Oxygen is an essential factor for fish, atleast most important in cases of betta. Betta tends to consume 100 times more oxygen than they drink water.

If no oxygen is in the water, they will suffocate and die.

Water objects

Some specific stuff, toy figures for a betta, need to be present inside their aquaria, such as pebbles, rocks, stones, artificial leaves, rooms for them to explore, caves, artificial lights, and more.

By nature, betta fishes are natural explorers. They will explore anything that you might throw inside their aquarium. Also, these toys and objects are the only way to keep them healthy and active for longer.

Finals words

Where to buy betta fish near me? There are so many stores around the world. Google map or search it on the internet to find the nearest store. And remember, always take care of your betta fish and their environment.
